I Heart Faces Challenge- From a Distance

I instantly thought of this photo with this title. My husband and I celebrated a trip to Paris & Rome for our anniversary this year. Please know that this was a huge deal for us. We are parents of challenging children. Coordinating child care was a must before we could even book the special.

I took this photo from a point-and shoot camera. We were riding a tour bus, and I saw this nun collecting water form a public fountain on the corner of the street. As an American, I thought about why a nun would be stealing water from a public fountain. Since then, I have learned this is common practice. I love this photo!
