Royal Gorge Train Ride- CO

I thought it would be fun to take a train ride through the Royal Gorge. The trip took a couple of hours and basically you go down the track, pause, and return the same route. We brought along dominoes to entertain the children, and I think they enjoyed the game more than the ride. Oh well, live and learn. It was a fun experience, but not really feeling the need to repeat.

There are different seating options on the train, and we chose the glass dome car. There are also a couple of open cars, where you can go out and visit while the train is in motion. The Royal Gorge is definitely a tourist attraction. You can fly in a helicopter, bungee jump, ride a cable car, drive over the bridge, and/or walk over the bridge. So much to do, and it is really an amazing site!
